Well-being and Performance Coaching
Coaching takes place via video (Zoom)
Ready to step off the well-being rollercoaster, so you can stop riding those unpredictable highs and lows?
People who live with neurodiversity, mental health conditions, or (quite commonly) both often experience fluctuating levels of well-being because….
👉 When they’re feeling good they push too hard then burn out
Or
👉 They feel good while everything is ticking along nicely until something changes, and that throws them off balance. It could be something small, something big, something exciting, something stressful, something joyful, something… something throws them off balance and their well-being drops. Eventually they recover, and start feeling good again….until, something changes.
Even with medication, it can be hard to break this cycle of thriving, then struggling.
And when you are struggling with this, everything feels hard - health, relationships, career, finance, family, even something simple as doing things you used to enjoy can feel overwhelming.
But with professional help it is possible to discover your own equilibrium and how to maintain it.
Hi, I’m Ronie, and I help people living with a neurodivergent or mental health condition understand it and explore what this means for who they are so that they can move forward feeling empowered and positive about the future.
I’m a coaching psychologist with over 10 years experience in this space. I’m also mum to 4 neurodivergent adult kids so I have seen first hand the challenges it can bring. I work closely with my husband Stephen, who is a registered mental health nurse and wellbeing practitioner - with lived experience of mental health. Between us we can help you understand and plan for ways to support your wellbeing, so you can go on to thrive.
When I work with clients with neurodiversity or mental health conditions we cover a wide range of topics because everyone is different. However, there are several common patterns that I see frequently - these include:
Learning to live well with your neurodiversity or mental health conditions
Figuring out what your unique strengths and values are so we can use them to tackle your challenges
Developing effective communication strategies
Improving self-esteem and confidence
Managing relationships - both personal and professional
Coping with home, education, or work environments
Managing energy levels
Developing strategies to support concentration, focus, and attention
Coping with change or transitions
Improving planning and organisational skills
Improving time-management skills
Learning the skills of effective goal setting
Understanding and harnessing motivation for change
Understanding and managing procrastination
Creating systems and structures to help with sensory sensitivities
Understanding the theory of habits and behaviour change
Creating your unique self-care routines
Reducing anxiety and stress
What can coaching help me with?
Here at the wellbeing habit we work in a positive neuro affirming way. This means that we don’t believe differences need to be “fixed”. Instead our goal is to help you understand the way your brain works, so that you can start to work with it, instead of constantly fighting against it.
Here at the wellbeing habit we use our core model as a starting point for all our work.
We believe that when you start from a position of truly knowing and accepting your whole, wonderful self, it becomes much easier to then figure out solutions to the challenges you are facing in your day-to-day life. When we start to work together, we look at things like your physicality (understanding your physical reality), values (what matters to you), beliefs (what things do you feel are challenging for you, what would you like to change), and strengths (what are you good at).
This gives you a really strong and positive sense of self, which allows you to approach challenges with an open and creative mind so we can get some really great and aligned strategies in place.
How do we work?
Here’s what working together might look like:
We have a chat (free, no obligations, no hard sell) about what you need. We cover the key elements and determine if coaching would be a good fit for you. We will get an idea of what your goals are, and what sort of time-scales and budgets you have available.
I’ll send you over an outline with some suggested options for ways for us to work together. You are free to choose the level that suits you best.
We will usually meet on Zoom. We will work through the core elements that are relevant to your situation, and there will be plenty of space to apply this to your context and tackle challenges that matter to you.
In the sessions we will discuss what actions would be useful for you to complete between sessions. This may include reflecting on things you have learnt, completing some exercises, or starting to implement new strategies or habits and tracking progress.
All actions are set by you, and we will work to right size them so you feel confident you can complete them.
What does it cost?
Every package is bespoke to what you need. For those that have a good understanding of their neurodiversity and/or mental health conditions, the most common packages are either 6 or 12 sessions of 1 hour each, spaced fortnightly.
However we don’t believe in cookie cutter solutions. If you are choosing one to one coaching, it should be able to flex to meet your needs - not suit the needs of the person providing it.
👉 You might be someone who prefers shorter sessions more frequently, or longer sessions less frequently.
👉 Your focus for coaching might be better served by shorter focused sessions (e.g. developing strategies for particular work situations, setting goals and keeping accountable for life stuff)
👉 You might be grappling with more meaty issues such as what this diagnosis means for your future aspirations, navigating relationships, or creating sustainable wellbeing and performance habits. This might be better served by hour-long sessions over a longer period of time.
👉 You might only need a couple of sessions to set up your strategies and wellbeing habits, but benefit from longer term short accountability sessions to keep you on track.
We can accommodate all of these needs. We operate transparent pricing and you can pick and mix packages in the way that suits you best. Some people do choose to work with us longer term - they start with a 6 session package, move onto an accountability package, then add on one off sessions to top up and recalibrate goals and strategies as and when they need them.
There is no minimum package, however it’s really important to recognise that much of the change and growth in coaching happens between sessions - much like in the gym, where your muscles grow in the repair stage between sessions. Booking a series of sessions is the most effective for seeing powerful results.
Here are our prices:
30 minute = £60
45 minute = £90
1 hour = £120
1.5 hour = £180
Accountability add-on (available after coaching is complete) = 4 x 15 minute weekly voxer check-ins = £120
For sessions booked together we provide a 5% discount.
Example packages
12 x 1 hour sessions fortnightly = £1368
6 x 30 minute sessions weekly = £342
4 x 90 minute sessions monthly = £684
12 x 45 minute sessions fortnightly = £1026

Frequently asked questions
👉 Is this kind of help available for free?
If you are in work then you may be able to access our coaching services for free through an Access to Work Grant.
We also have limited pro-bono places available for those in need. Get in touch to find out more if this applies to you.
👉 I take medication - does that mean I can't do coaching?
We offer a [brief explanation of how your product or service helps your customers]. Our process is [simple/efficient/convenient] and [positive adjective] for you.
👉 How is this different from therapy or counselling?
In general terms, therapy and counselling are more likely to be working with you to understand causes of issues, and reflecting on history. Coaching is generally more forward focused, and helping you find your own personalised solutions to issues.
👉 Do I need to have a formal diagnosis?
Not at all! Our coaching works with you and your current reality. We don't ask to see a copy of your diagnosis.
👉 I need long term accountability - can you help?
Yes we can! We have an accountability add-on for once coaching has finished if you just need a little bit of support.
Some clients also choose to book additional sessions on a monthly or quarterly basis to keep checking in and tweaking their wellbeing habit.
👉 What if my needs change and I want to extend my package?
Absolutely! You are in control of your coaching package. You can can add more sessions if you need them, as well as our accountability package.
Offering evidence-based performance and wellbeing support for individuals and families navigating challenges.
